Awesome

I found out after reading a letter I wrote and my text that I write the word awesome way too much. I need to find a new word. Things are going great. We had a ycl retreat last Tuesday and it was a blast. Only bad part was a girl stepped on a nail and hadn't had her shots. That caused drama. We had a good time. 330 am is a little late for me. Not going to lie. 

My birthday was Wednesday. It was low key, very nice to have just a good time. Lunch with my mom and sister and dinner with wade. It was a good day.

Thursday I got in accident long story but ill try to make it short......so I was driving towards a light. Shaylie was throwing a fit so I turned to tell her to stop. I Looks back at the road and the light had turned red and the cars were coming out into the intersection. I slammed on my breaks and slide through the intersection missed all four cars and hit cement. It broke my steering in my car. We were super blessed and Heavenly Father saved us from harm. Super blessed.

Friday was the 4th year overnight hike and I had to drive so wade fixes my car in the morning and brought it to me 5 mins before I had to be there. Once again blessed.
7 mile hike it was beautiful and the testimony meeting was very powerful. All the nature and wonderful things God has created.

Sunday was stake conference and we had the great opportunity to go to a conference for missionaries and mission presidents. It was a great spiritual experience. Loved it. 

 Well there you have it. Life hasn't slowed down but we are doing well! Next time!

Just life

So I have figured out that all the craziness is not bad luck or it's not life throwing crap at you it's just life. Since my last post we have been trying to recover from all of that life stuff. Since then Wade had a second surgery and my dad had to have an emergency surgery to get his appendix out. Shaylie had a dance recital and she graduated from kindergarten! She got big fast! I wont life I cried a little. Once again we are being blessed through all this. It's been amazing to see all the love and amazing amount of support that people have shown us. I have jumped started my blog and we are up to 120 follows via email, 101 via facebook, 20 via wordpress and others on twitter and instagram. It's excited to see how much it is growing. Girls camp is coming up and I'm excited but nervous for that! It will be a blast but I will be away from my kids for a long time. I love girls camp and the girls in our stake are rock stars! They are such a fun and awesome group so I'm excited to spend time with them! Shaylie started swimming lessons today! I taught swim lessons for 5 years but couldn't teach my own daughter! But she loves it and she had a blast so I'm glad she is getting this opportunity. I've been trying to find things for my kids to do this summer because they are already bored. I got a "bored box" which is tons of craft stuff and games from the dollar store and they can use one a day and they can not say they are bored. We will see how that works. I also found out they have a reading program for the summer at the library. You set a goal at the beginning of the week and you turn it in at the end and you get a prize. The prizes are bowling passes, jump on it passes, free ice cream, and other great free stuff! I'm all about free. Activities in the summer can get pricey. With everything coming up I'll be sure to post soon!
