It's almost time for shaylies birthday party! I can't believe she is turning 6! Actually I can believe she is turning 6 because of her attitude problem. Wow she is turning into a little pre teen. I'm going to have an awesome time in high school. She is a sweet tender hearted girl but she can be a beast when she doesn't wanna do something. I wonder where she got that?! Lol. She is going to have a tangled party and I've been working my butt off to give her one.
Other than the up coming party I'm trying to figure out what to do about shaylies current school. I've been happy with it j but next year she will be mingled in with second and third graders. I don't like that and don't think that's right. With that program it has a very uptight discipline system that I'm not a fan of at all. I need to talk to other parents but the couple I've talked to are not happy. I don't want shaylie to bounce from school to school and I know we will probably moving within the next two years so I want this school to work. It just bugs me. Ugh.
Briggs still won't even look at a potty. Love that boy but he is a tad hard headed. I don't know how to potty train a boy and shaylie was pretty good about it and excited about being big. Briggs doesn't care and thinks its better to be changed.e he's two and a half. It's time for him to go on the big boy potty. But everything I read about when training a boy you have to wait until he is ready. Well it looks like ill be waiting longer. I'm ready though!
Keeping up the website, preparing for the party, family, and church calling has definitely made me busy. I'm trying to art aside more quality time with me and the kids and sometimes wade. Hopefully this will all work out. Oh ps we got a new entertainment center and its awesome. The kids just loved the packing!

Life and living
After a crazy week we are back to a normal routine. This day last week we lot an awesome grandma yesterday she was laid to rest. Now it is our turn to live our lives to the fullest! I went to grandmas favorite store today (dollar tree) :) it's shaylies birthday time and I gotta get going on figuring out what I'm doing with her party. My website is now a .com do I'm feeling the pressure to get more stuff up and I'm doing my best. Life is pretty nuts though. This blog is how I journal so I'm trying hard to keep up to date. I need to get out to ca! I miss my grandparents and have to figure out how I'm going to afford to go out there. A round trip ticket is 300 dollars! So if I wanna go out with my kids and hubs its 1200 in just tickets . That doesn't include hotel or car or food. Ouch ouch and more ouch. I'm for sure going in August bc my bf is getting married! Vanessa was one o my bridesmaids so I'm so excited to see her marry the man of her dreams!
Briggs has hit the terrible twos!!! Ugh he is always crying and yelling. He threw a wooden block at shaylie and hit her between the eyes today. That was great. I have to get him potty trained and not so mean. Any suggestions? Shaylie is a diva but a good girl. She is getting bored when she doesn't have friends to play with. Comes with the age. Well gotta go! See ya

Always a weird day
It doesn't matter how many time you have a loved one pass it is always a weird day. The day you find out your time is short it is so surreal. Wednesday night we got a phone call saying we all need to come together because this was the end. surrounded by family and friend wade have grandma a blessing for comfort. It was great to have everyone around knowing she would be gone. Grandma peacock passed early Thursday morning. . It was as good as an event like that could go. Shaylie has struggled a little because she is bigger and understands that she won't see her again. We have talked about what happens and about heaven a lot. She has talked about all the loved ones that have gone before. The list is getting longer. I know this won't be the last time and with 2 90 year old grandparents I bet it will be within the next 5-10 years. Shaylie and Briggs have been blessed to know so many of their great grandparents. We love them all and will miss grandma peacock.

You can do it!
I'm not good at long term goals so I take Mine a couple months at a time. So my current goals are....(when needed to be accomplished)
1. Have more patience with my kids(always)
2. Expand and improve my party blog.(by feb 1st)
3. Help my sister start her business(feb 1st)
4. Help my mom with a wedding shower(march)
5. Help mom set up wedding lunch. (April)
6. Organize entire house.(feb 7th)
7. Plan shaylies birthday party(feb 7th)
8. Lose 10 pounds( April 19th)
9. Potty train Briggs (ASAP)
10. Find a shaylie and mom project to do together( ASAP)
So much to do so little time. I think I'm Doing pretty well on all of them for now. But it's only week 2 since I started so here we go. I find I do better with goals that are a couple months vs all year. I'm more productive. But there is one goal that is going to be the hardest! Briggs + potty = yeah right. He has no interest! And he get mad when I suggest it. I asked him once if he wanted to go on the potty and he said yes! I was excited until he wanted to pee like a big boy and when I told him he had to sit down he got mad and now he won't get near the potty. Grrrrr shaylie was not this hard at all. Oh well. Shaylie is a diva but she's a good kid. I need to do more one on one stuff with her, she is growing too fast. Well till later

Love them
So many days I feel overwhelmed and kinda crazy raising these kids! They are cute and awesome but a huge responsibility. And kinda hard. It's amazing to think that all these( meaning my life now) came from wade and I falling in love, it's crazy. I remember when wade and I were just dating and it was fun and we just loved each other and didn't have much care. Now it's a deeper love that holds us all together. Never then could I think of what I have now. Heavenly Father knew what was best.
